Badnjak, nema oznaku zapovjednog posta i nemrsa, ali se smatra kako je to uz nemrsna jela i svojevrsno odricanje od mesa priprema za Bo\u017ei\u0107. Tradicionalno su se na Badnjak kuhala ona jela koja \u0107e se jesti na sam Badnjak, ali i pripremala Bo\u017ei\u0107na jela. U obiteljima je postojala svojevrsna podjela rada i poslova vezanih za kuhanje, mu\u0161karci bi obi\u010dno pripremali meso i pe\u010denje, \u017eene bi pravile kola\u010de i ostala jela.<br>Neka od jela koja nisu navedena u receptima ispod, a jela su se na sam Badnjak su kupus sa suhim \u0161ljivama, pr\u0161urate (starinske fritule, bez jaja). Uglavnom se na Badnjak jedu kalorijski siroma\u0161na jela kao riba, su\u0161ena riba, bakalar na le\u0161o ili brudet, ri\u017eoto od liganja ili sipe, a od priloga naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e cvjeta\u010da i kupus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> <strong>\u0160to se kuha na Bo\u017ei\u0107<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Na Bo\u017ei\u0107 se obi\u010dno ne kuha, nego se na Bo\u017ei\u0107, sv. Stjepana i sv. Ivana obi\u010dno jedu jela koja su se pripremila na Badnjak. Eventualno na Bo\u017ei\u0107 se podgrije ili doradi neko jelo koje se pripremilo na Badnjak uve\u010der. Na primjer, ukoliko se radi manje pe\u010denje, na primjer pe\u010dena koko\u0161, ona se \u010disti i marinira uve\u010der na Badnjak, kako bi se na Bo\u017ei\u0107 samo stavila u pe\u0107nicu. Tako\u0111er, kao prilog uz pe\u010denje se pripremaju jela koja mogu stajati bar dva dana, kao na primjer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.recepti.covermagazin.com\/?p=13398\">francuska salta<\/a>, koja se u na\u0161im krajevima uobi\u010dajila kao neizostavno blagdansko jelo koje se poslu\u017euje uz pe\u010denje. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u0160to se jo\u0161 kuha za Bo\u017ei\u0107<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Kada se kuha za Bo\u017ei\u0107, na Badnjak, obi\u010dno se spravljaju jela koja se mogu jesti i dva dana nakon Bo\u017ei\u0107a, na sv. Stjepana i sv. Ivana. Uz pe\u010denje, priprema se sarma ili aramba\u0161i\u0107i, sa suhim mesom i kobasicama, te se blagdanski stol puni bo\u017ei\u0107nim kola\u010dima. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Recepti za jela koja se kuhaju na Badnjak:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Za Badnjak se obi\u010dno kuhaju jela od ribe i druga posna jela.<\/strong> U priobalju se radi bakalar, u Slavoniji fi\u0161 paprika\u0161, a u Zagrebu i okolici Zagreba naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e lignje ili ri\u017eot od morskih plodova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-recepti wp-block-embed-recepti\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"oY2nGSoSOJ\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.recepti.covermagazin.com\/?p=3096\">Bakalar u umaku &#8211;
